Joma Top Flex IC Indoor & Futsal Soccer Shoes - Blue/Royal Blue/Electric Pink

• Leather forefoot that keeps the ball close on abrasive court surfaces
• Flexible outsole that folds with the foot instead of fighting it
• Non-marking gum rubber for polished wood and synthetic indoor turf
• Blue, royal and electric pink - loud under gym lights, not gaudy

The first thing you notice is not the colour, it is the give. Press a thumb into the forefoot of the Joma Top Flex IC and the leather sinks about as far as it should and then stops, which is exactly the behaviour you want from a court shoe that futsal players have quietly trusted for years. On polished wood the ball settles into that soft pocket for a fraction of a second before it leaves, and that is the whole point of the shoe: it helps your first touch instead of demanding that your first touch be perfect already.

Sizing, briefly, because nobody wants to scroll three paragraphs for the warning. The last is accommodating rather than tight, and it is not built for players who like a vice around the midfoot. Most people wearing a UK 8.5 in a Nike indoor boot will be perfectly happy in a UK 8 here, and narrow-footed players should plan on a thicker sock or accept a bit of volume movement. The upper keeps its shape nicely once the leather relaxes, but that break-in costs you two sessions and the first one feels snug right across the instep.

As for the colourway, the blue and royal blue panels do all the heavy lifting while the electric pink is rationed out on the branding and heel counter, which is the correct ratio. Most bright indoor colourways look louder in photographs than they do in person; this one is the opposite, and it reads clean on a dark gym floor without turning into a shoe you have to explain to your teammates. White socks, no arguments.
