Nike Phantom 6 Elite Low FG Firm Ground Soccer Cleats - Red/Bright Crimson/Royal Blue

• Gripknit forefoot with a tacky, tactile first touch on the instep
• Low-cut collar frees the ankle for sharp changes of direction
• FG stud pattern stays planted on dry natural grass
• Red, Bright Crimson and Royal Blue that pops under floodlights

Let's get the annoying part out of the way first: this Phantom 6 Elite Low in Red/Bright Crimson/Royal Blue runs roughly a half size long, and the Gripknit upper only truly locks down a narrow-to-medium foot. If you have a wide forefoot, sizing down is non-negotiable, and even then budget two or three sessions before the midfoot stops pinching your instep on hard stops.

Once it does settle, the forefoot Gripknit is the entire reason to pay Elite money. It is a slightly tacky, pebbled surface that bites the ball instead of merely meeting it, so a curled cross or a driven pass feels steered rather than struck. Hitting a dead ball with the laces, there is just enough compression to give you a clean read of where contact happened, with no dead pocket sitting behind it.

Underneath, the firm-ground plate keeps the studs short and widely spaced: planted traction on dry natural grass, quick release when you twist out of a challenge, and a genuine longing for longer studs once the pitch turns to soup. As for the paint job, a blood-red body that rolls into Bright Crimson across the toe before the Royal Blue heel and Swoosh slam the brakes on, it looks far louder in daylight than in any studio shot. That is a number 10 boot, and it knows it.
