Adidas Predator 27 Elite Fold-Over Tongue FG Firm Ground Soccer Cleats - Black/Lucid Pink/Solar Yellow

• Return of the iconic fold-over tongue for a locked-in, retro-modern feel
• HybridTouch 2.0 upper with raised rubber Control Zone for lethal spin
• Full-length Carbitex Speedframe outsole for explosive FG traction
• Striking Black/Lucid Pink/Solar Yellow colorway that demands attention

Let's cut the nostalgia act for a second. Yes, the fold-over tongue is back, and yes, it looks absolutely menacing in this Black/Lucid Pink/Solar Yellow getup. But the real story here is how Adidas managed to make a modern speed boot feel like it has a soul. The moment you slide your foot into the Predator 27 Elite, that tongue doesn't just sit there like a decorative flap; it compresses the midfoot with a surprisingly aggressive wrap that reminds you this is still a weapon built for the pitch, not a museum piece.

On firm ground, the Carbitex Speedframe is where this boot earns its keep. You feel the stiffness immediately when you plant for a cut, but it's not a dead, plank-like stiffness. It's a springy, reactive platform that transfers energy straight into your next stride. The raised rubber elements on the HybridTouch 2.0 upper are subtle enough that they don't ruin the clean strike zone, yet when you catch a ball slightly off-center, you get that extra bite of spin that makes you look like you actually meant to do it. It's a cheat code for set pieces, plain and simple.

Now, the fit. This is not a boot for wide-footed players. The Predator 27 Elite runs narrow through the midfoot, and that fold-over tongue, while brilliant for lockdown, doesn't offer much forgiveness if your instep runs high. Go half a size up if you're between sizes, or prepare for a break-in period that will test your patience. But once they mold to your feet, the connection is unreal. The Black/Lucid Pink/Solar Yellow colorway is loud, unapologetic, and exactly what a Predator should be in 2026.
