Nike Tiempo Streetgato Prm IC Indoor & Futsal Soccer Shoes - Blue/Royal Blue/Light Violet

• Premium suede upper that softens within three sessions and then holds its shape
• Non-marking gum outsole with a rounded pivot point built for hard indoor courts
• Roomy Tiempo last - true to size for futsal, half down for sockless street wear
• Royal blue base with light violet Swoosh edging and heel tab

Straight up: if you have a genuinely wide forefoot, the Streetgato Premium IC will feel like it was built for you, and everyone else will be fine too. The Tiempo last runs roomy through the midfoot, so going true to size is the call for actual indoor play - going half down only makes sense if you plan to wear these sockless on pavement. I lobbied between my usual 9 and a 9.5 for a week and the 9 won once the suede broke in around the fifth session.

On a lacquered futsal court the gum rubber outsole is the real story. The pivot point under the ball of the foot lets you spin out of contact without that horrible skipping sensation, and the traction is more of a rolling grip than a hard bite, which suits quick indoor turns better than any bladed plate ever will. Cushioning is modest - a low-profile drop-in midsole, not a full-length air unit - so guys expecting vapor-style bounce underfoot will be disappointed. What you do get is court feel, and lots of it.

The Blue / Royal Blue / Light Violet colorway is the sleeper here. Royal blue suede carries almost the whole shoe, and the light violet lands only on the Swoosh border and the heel tab, which sounds loud on paper and reads almost tonal in person. It looks like a 1980s Tiempo that got left in the sun a bit too long, and I mean that as a compliment. Wear them on court with black socks or off it with denim; they hold up in both rooms.
