Adidas Predator 26 Elite FG Firm Ground Soccer Cleats - Pink/Berry Pink/Metallic Silver

• HybridTouch forefoot skin with a layered rubber strike zone that genuinely bites on driven balls
• Controlframe soleplate - stiff through the midfoot, snappy toe-off on firm natural grass
• Bladed front studs and conical heels for bite plus rotation
• Pink/Berry Pink with Metallic Silver three stripes - louder in person than on camera

Size down half if you have a narrow foot, that is the first thing anyone who has actually laced these up will tell you. The Predator 26 Elite FG runs long in the toe box and the midfoot cage pulls tighter than the 25 did, so the usual true-to-size advice is genuinely bad here. Wide-footed players should stay put or go up half; everyone else, drop a half. Once you are locked in, the heel sits deep and flat with zero slip, which is exactly what you want when you plant for a shot. It is a committed, aggressive fit, not a friendly one.

The HybridTouch skin over the forefoot is thinner than it looks, and the rubberised strike zone across the instep is built up in layers rather than glued on flat, so a driven ball leaves your foot with grip and spin instead of a dead slap. Roll your foot over the top of the ball and you can feel the ridges bite - it is a Predator thing, and it is still the reason people buy this silo.

Underneath, the Controlframe plate is stiff through the midfoot and flexes just past the ball of the foot, giving you a clean, snappy push-off on dry natural grass. The FG studs are conical at the heel and bladed up front, so you get rotation at the back and bite at the front - ideal for firm ground, but do not take these onto 3G, they will drag. Pink/Berry Pink with Metallic Silver flashes reads far louder in person than in the studio shots, especially the silver on the three stripes. Technical midfielders and shot-shaping strikers, this is your boot; if you want cushioning and forgiveness, look elsewhere.
