There is a very specific kind of footballer who has been waiting for this one: the indoor player who also skates, or the skater who still plays futsal on Tuesday nights. The Supreme x Nike SB Gato IC is Copper/Metallic Copper/Gum, and it lands squarely in that overlap. The upper is a burnished metallic copper leather that shifts from a dull penny tone in flat light to a hard, almost bronze flare under arena lamps, and Supreme's box logo sits on the tongue and heel without screaming across the whole shoe.

On court, the toe box is the story. The leather starts stiff - genuinely stiff, like a fresh pair of Copa Mundials - and takes roughly three futsal sessions to crease into the shape of your foot. Once it does, the touch on a low-pressure ball is superb: the upper is thin enough to feel the seams of a worn ball through your instep, and the flat gum outsole keeps you honest on hardwood and smooth indoor courts. The tread is a classic herringbone-style gum rubber, non-marking, and it bites best on dry surfaces. Take these onto wet grass and you will slide; this is not a firm-ground shoe and was never meant to be.

Sizing is the part people get wrong. The Gato IC runs narrow and low-volume, with a shallow toe and very little give through the midfoot, so if your feet are wide, go half a size up or accept a break-in period that is genuinely uncomfortable. Length is true to size, which is the trap - the shoe feels correct in length while pinching across the forefoot. Wide-footed players, size up. Everyone else, order your normal size and give it two weeks.
