Straight-line speed is the entire brief here. On dry natural grass the Speedframe plate sits low and stiff, the bladed studs bite the second you load your calf, and the sole snaps you forward instead of flexing under your weight. It is quick in a way that catches you out - you take a second touch you did not need because your feet got there before your brain did. The Fiberskin upper is thin enough that you feel the ball almost unfiltered, which is lovely for a driven pass and slightly unforgiving when you receive with your back to goal.

Now the part nobody enjoys: the fit. With no laces there is nothing to loosen once the midfoot clamps down, and that collar is not going to stretch into comfort over 90 minutes. Wide feet, high instep or a chunky toe box - go half a size up or look elsewhere, seriously. Narrow feet get one of the most locked-in feels on the market, zero slide inside the boot, but you have to mean it when you pull them on.
